The Puritans left for the New World for Many Reasons. The first one (Which is the most important) is they left for religious freedom. They wanted to leave for the Americas so that they can practice their religion freely. The Puritans imagined themselves mimic the story of Exodus.
Ten years later after the Pilgrims, the Puritans in 1630 sailed on the first ship, the Arbella, to the New World. The Puritans Improved a lot of things from the Plymouth, Jamestown, and Roanoke Colonies. The Pilgrims in 1620 started with 100 settlers. On the other hand, the Puritans in 1630 brought 1,000 settlers that means more hard work which means more skilled laborers. ,The Pilgrims brought little food, no cattle. However, the Puritans brought 4 ships filled with food and supplies. The Pilgrims settled in Plymouth but in contrast the Puritans settled in Salem and Boston.
